Chelsea Town House

9,150 sq. ft Chelsea, London, SW3

WOOLF Interior Design & Interior Architecture collaborated with MWAI Architecture on this substantial, 8-floor Victorian townhouse within the Royal Hospital Conservation Area in Chelsea, London. The interior design concept for this project was to blend a US & UK urban scheme in order to create an impressive and highly-detailed complex design, which is a blend of practicality and characterful international styling.

This interior design and architectural scheme included the creation of a striking and visually stunning bespoke Corian and timber staircase and a high end, visually impactful state of the art kitchen where we were the first to use a blue timber veneer.

WOOLF Interior Design & Interior Architecture were also commissioned to design a bespoke joinery scheme using an innovative jigsaw cut grey timber veneer. We created a large comfortable double height cinema room with acoustic wool, wall panelling. We individually designed the mosaic in each of the luxury bathrooms including bespoke lighting by Lyndsay Adelman. The furnishings were a combination of contemporary and mid-Century chic and WOOLF Interior Design & Interior Architecture curated the Clients stunning art collection for display throughout this beautiful townhouse.

WOOLF interior worked in tandem with MWAI architects, the building contractor and several other sub-contractors, consultants and trades. The build was complex because the house grew into a large seven-storey Victorian terrace property in a Conservation area of Chelsea. WOOLF really enhanced the design of the house and when they had finished installing, the house had become a rather chic family space.
