Residential & Commercial Design Director

British designer Verity Woolf has over 25 years of design industry experience. She began her career as an art director and production designer in film and television, honing a unique ability to instil a sense of character and narrative into a space. Later, she worked in an architectural practice as a senior interior designer.

Since establishing WOOLF in 2009, Verity has designed for a wide array of clients. They are drawn by her discrete, collaborative and fun-loving approach to the design journey. Verity treats projects like a curator, skilfully mixing specially made pieces with antique furniture, contemporary design and artworks that reflect the passions and personalities of her clients. She enjoys guiding them on an unexpected design journey.

Verity frequently works in tandem with teams of architects on demanding, complex and detailed schemes towards a common design objective. Her work spans interior architecture, interior design and decoration. The majority of her projects are high-end residential and hotel schemes.

WOOLF has collaborated with leading architects on projects that range from a Georgian home in Bath to a boutique hotel in Ireland. We have extensive experience working with period properties and historic homes, sensitively imbuing them with a feeling of modern luxury. We form close relationships with our clients, who often return to us when their families or brands grow and their needs change.

It is a charity based organisation focused on the preservation, repair, restoration and protection of Georgian buildings. Promoting a knowledge and appreciation of Georgian architecture, craftsmanship and influence on later design.
