chic Town house villa
5381 sq ft / 500 sqm - Residential Contract
WOOLF was brought in to refine this chic Victorian London villa following a fabulous renovation and extension by DMFK architects. The project across five stories, included decorating a master suite, bedrooms, bathrooms, living rooms, an attic office, and a movie snug.
The villa needed to retain its original character and our design work focused on introducing a glam ’70s feel. The spaces have been decorated with an understated charm and one-of-a-kind investment pieces. Our aim was to enhance the family’s collection of art and furniture by bringing in vintage finds and designing bespoke pieces with Rupert Bevan.
The interior design was led by our client’s sophisticated aesthetic, introducing textures and colour through textile and tone. We up-cycled and reupholstered pieces that already belonged to the clients, using new designs on old-loved favourites.
The use of rugs throughout the house helped to synthesise the design acting as works of art in their own right. It was a pleasure to work with such open, stylish and experimental clients.
