Private Residences - The Gasholders

1,500 sq ft  - 1,700 sq ft apartments.

Built between 1860 and 1880, the Grade II-listed cast iron Gasholders guide frames were revived by Architects Wilkinson Eyre. The interlocking trio are now a spectacular uniquely original telescopic high end residential development located in the heart of the new avant-garde Kings Cross in London.

WOOLF Interior Design & Interior Architecture took an 'imaginative and flexible' approach in incorporating into the interior design, the client’s original furniture, art work and years of history creating a new ultra-contemporary setting. The WOOLF Interior Design & Interior Architecture team blended original and new furniture, fabrics, wall treatments and soft furnishings to pull the space together.  We have approached the artwork and accessories like a curator, working with a fantastic art collection. The end product is an interior design scheme that showcases the clients fabulous collections and the beautiful building.

Thank you to WOOLF you were brilliant at suggesting which pieces of furniture we could take from our existing home and which pieces would not work. Verity helped me find items that complemented both our existing furniture and the contemporary apartment; no mean feat! She was fun to work with and her colleagues are delightful and very efficient. Verity and her recommended picture hanger brought our art collection to life in their new surroundings and we enjoyed the whole design experience.
